The Girl

You know the girl grew up in a country town

Where the guys drive trucks big four by fours

But the rural life never got her down

She survived her early romantic wars.

‍

She grew up tall and loving and straight

Enjoyed country music times with friends

She cared for the weak and felt no hate

She had a kind heart the kind that mends

‍

I say the girl was a sweet refresher

Vivacious and a fancy dresser

Bored with hype the marrying type

I did long wait to caress her

‍

You know the girl looked great in a rubber tire

With a choker made out of electrical tape

A corset concealing a heart on fire

A figure revealing it’s feminine shape

‍

She drank a little and smoked a lot

She smiled a bunch was rarely sad

She worked very hard for all she’d got

T’was all those liars that made her mad

‍

I say the girl was a sweet refresher

Vivacious and a fancy dresser

Bored with hype the marrying type

I did long wait to caress her

‍

She was always polite nice to be near

She had nice eyes and integrity

She had other nice things unmentionable here

She was a rather unique young women you see

‍

Yes the girl was cool so I adored

Entertained the lady whenever I could

She accepted my gifts was never bored

Watched my tongue said what I should
